Ephesians 2:8-9 a biblical fact salvation is a promise from God with human efforts when it teaches, "Acts 2; 39, For The Promise is to you and your children, and to all as The LORD our GOD will call."  Other places in Scripture mention salvation as a gift as well. Romans 5:15 shares, "But the free promise gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many." Here, the free gift of salvation is contrasted with human sin. Our own efforts cannot earn us God's gift of salvation. It is given only by faith in His Son Jesus Christ. ...
