Children Of GOD

Word time with your servant and faithful Apostle James Winfree Sr, How would you like to be the sons or daughters of the most powerful Kingdom of heaven?

But we are related to The Kings and we are His offspring! Yes the Bible speaks about His royal family in Acts 17 Chapter.

Our Apostle Paul said in the book of Galatians 3:26 For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

What did that verse say? That we are all the children of GOD! But how can that be? How can a no-body like me, become a child of GOD! Well it says in that verse that it is by "Faith in Christ Jesus".

So how does having faith in Christ Jesus make us a child of the heavenly King? And how can we understand this in a practical every-day way?

Remember when GOD first created man and from the man woman was given, he made two perfectly happy and healthy people. Adam and Eve were part of the family of God in the heavenly paradise and they are Parents of the human race. But when Adam disobeyed GOD, he could no longer enjoy their heavenly home, because of his sin, a large, black gulf was made between the human family and GOD.

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your GOD, and your sins have hid His face from you...

But, aren't we glad things didn't end there! Just think for a moment of what Jesus went through when He left His royal palace in heaven, and forsook all of the glories of His heavenly home to come down to this dark sinful world. And how He battled with Satan and conquered him! And lived a perfect life gaining the victory over sin. And how much anguish and pain He endured as He chose to take all the sins of the world upon Himself, and die on the cross. What matchless love He has! And Why? What was the purpose of all this?

Jesus did all this so that you and I could be reunited with GOD, so that by faith in Jesus (or by trusting in Him) we can confess our sins and have them forgiven so that we can once again, be a child of GOD in Christ Jesus!

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He Jesus,  is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from All unrighteousness.

Jesus came to this world to take away our sins, so that we could become children of GOD again in Jesus Christ.

1. John 3:5 And you know that Christ was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.

And once we receive Jesus and trust in Him, He will give us power to continue to be  sons and daughters of GOD. He will give us power so that we won't do anything that will separate us from Him in love, mercy and amazing grace.

John 1:12 But as many as received Jesus, to them gave He power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on His Name YESHUA JESUS:

And all those who are sons and daughters of GOD have the blessed hope of seeing Jesus and being like Him when He shall appear to take His children to our new heavenly home.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of GOD, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when Jesus Christ shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see YESHUA as He is.

"Beloved, now are we the sons and daughters of GOD." Can any human dignity equal this? What higher position can we occupy than to be called the sons and daughters of The Infinite GOD?
What a stupendous thought, what unheard-of condescension, what amazing love, that finite men and women  may be allied to the Omnipotent! "To them gave He power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on His Name Jesus" (John 1:12). "Beloved, now are we the sons and daughters of GOD." Can any worldly honor equal this? [ Now live as His sons and daughters in this world by faith], Amen.
