We Must Repent, Church.

For the Church to come back to The Lord Jesus Christ:

Dear heavenly Father, You are a great and awesome GOD Who has loved us with an everlasting love and has sent the Lord Jesus to be the propitiation for our sins… You have raised us up and seated us together with Christ in heavenly places and yet all we deserve is death, for there are none that is righteous, except You Lord Jesus,

Father in Christ, we come humbly before Your throne of grace confessing the many sins of the church and the great apostasy into which so many of Your blood-bought children have fallen. Heavenly Father and our Savior,
 You gave us Your Word of truth and we have turned aside from its truth and are teaching or practicing another gospel, which must grieve Your Spirit. We have not taken to heart the beautiful holy Scripture that You have given to us for our learning and encouragement but have left our first love to drink out of the systems of the world ,and truly Lord Jesus, there seems to be no health in the Body of Believers , yet all are not united with each other and we have the rich and the poor divided , and  with leaders and members hating the skin tone or color.

Listen to the pleadings of Your servant Apostle James Winfree Sr,  and the cries for mercy from Your chosen ones. Forgive us Lord of the way that we as a body have turned from You and adopted so many of the world’s false philosophies and destructing thinking. We have not loved You as You deserve, nor have we really loved each other in your body of Believers, we have not delighted in Your Word ,  we have neglected the beautiful truths and instructions that are contained in its pages. We have become selfish and careless in our attitudes to others and to You and there is no real true Godly love in us,  Forgive us Lord GOD.

I pray that as a body we would turn from all that is evil , all that is not of You , all that discredits Your Holy Name , all that grieves Your Holy Spirit and return us to the truth of Your holy Word, which we have all too readily failed to practice.

May we once again become a peculiar people in Christ,  a praying people , a people that are separated from the world , a people that love You with all our heart and soul and mind and body and soul and spirit , and a people that place the Lord Jesus in His rightful position in our lives. I pray that we may once again show forth Your praises and glory , not only with lips but in our lives, by giving up ourselves daily to You and by walking in Newness of Life , to Your praise and glory in Jesus blessed and beloved holy Name I pray,

Amen.
