Christ Believers Husband,  Do You Have Your Wife Covered?

Should a godly husband cover his wife? Does she really need his covering? More and more women have decided to leave the covering of their husbands and have careers, go back to college, or do whatever they see fit. It used to be husbands cover their wives financially and physically, and in any other ways deemed necessary according to the ills of this ungodly world at that time - it is not like that anymore. 

The fact of the matter is, without being under the covering of her husband, a woman will not be protected from the criminal and sexual abuses of society or from the temptations of other men making advances on her. Most married men do not understand the concept of being the protector of their wives because they do not know what their position in the marriage should be. 

Yes, most ministers and Christians leaders do not teach the importance of husbandly protection anymore. God's standards never change with the fads of the world, so why should a God's standards change? Can you change the color red to be blue? No! The color red has already been established as red and cannot be made blue no matter how much you want it to be blue. 

As we all know God's Word has already been established, what God already established as His Holy Word cannot be changed to fit into the standards of this world or culture, no matter how much people would like to change it to fit into their daily lives. I mean, people can rebel against the standards of God, but in doing so will not find happiness because a great spiritual Power will be missing from their life. 

God says the husband is supposed to cover his wife and the wife is supposed to submit to his covering. That has not changed for married couples and never will. It is God's will that husband and wife participate in the roles given to them. If a husband says he does not want his wife to work outside the home then she should honor and respect her husband and not work out of the home if he is taking care of business. 

A husbandly covering is how a godly man is taught to love his wife according to the Word of God. God is the Master Designer of marriage, so it would go without saying that He knows what is best for us in marriage, right?

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her, to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain, or wrinkle, or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. ( Ephesians 5:25-28 ) 

Husbandly headship is a husband sacrificing his life for his wife's life if need be. It is making his wife's well being of prime importance by protecting and caring for her as he would his own body. Christ's death sanctified and cleansed the Church and when believers do the will of Christ it is God's Word that cleanses us. When a man loves his wife the way Christ loved the Church, he cleanses her and makes her holy and ing. 

Anytime a woman steps away from her husband's covering, she will be vulnerable to criminal and sexual abuses and tempted from sexual advances made from weak ass preachers and co-workers and other married men. Because of the way of society, a woman should work for other people in jobs and careers and at home for her husband and children. This is how a woman brings joy and life into the home by putting her creative talents and abilities to work for her family. 

The preachers and pastors do not teach this aspect of the word of God. It gets tossed down the drain with the bath water. If a woman is outside the home working under the authority of other men and women, how can her husband cover her in the ways he is supposed to, according to God's design for marriage? - Loving her in the way Christ loved the Church?

We do realize that sometimes a wife may actually need to work, for instance, if her husband gets laid off from his job, or he gets hurt and is laid up in bed, or whatever, and in that instance, a husband can still cover his wife by checking out the company she works for. He should let his presence be known by meeting the staff and CEO personally, that way, issues of sexual and other abuses will be less prevalent yes even in the church. 

. 

In conclusion, it is always best when a wife can stay home and work for her family but if she must work outside the home than the husband can still provide his loving godly covering in those instances by taking his responsibilities with the importance it deserves. It's the way God designed it and is what works according to His will, and we know that Christ loves us His Church, who do most of you pastors and religious leaders put your kingdoms, buildings and things and your money before God's chosen people?. Your court day is coming up!
