Do you have a real true relationship with The Savior God in Christ Jesus?

The Holy-day known as Easter is actually Resurrection Of Our LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST. Easter is the commemoration of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Yet, before these events ever occurred, Jesus had already declared that He was both the Resurrection and the Life. "Jesus said unto her, I Am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" ( John 11:25 ).

 

Resurrection and Life are found in One Man, and One Savior only-The Great I AM-Jesus Christ the Lord! He is the resurrection power that brings the dead to life. He is also the eternal life that is imparted to the dead. Furthermore, Jesus Christ has raised us up so that we might walk in newness of life-His Life!

 

There is a lot of talk about the resurrection at Easter time, and rightly so. But the resurrection should remain prominent in our lives all the time! It's the resurrection side of the cross that makes all the difference in how we live.  

 

So, how do we live? The Lord tells us in Hosea 6:2-3 "The third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth."  

 

There is no true living apart from the resurrection power of God's Spirit. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to raise us up and enable us to live. It is the power of God's Spirit that initially imparts the life of Christ to us. When Christ arose on the third day, we arose together with Him in order that we might walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4). As a result of the resurrection, we can now live in His sight-His very presence. That means we've been granted perpetual face-time with the Lord due to His indwelling presence. We are able to live in His presence by the power of His Spirit because of the life of Christ within us! What an honor, privilege and awesome responsibility this is!

 

But first, you've got to know how! Everyone recognizes the importance of "know how." But where does this "know how" come from? The only "know how" that really matters comes from the Lord! Thus, God made the stipulation in Hosea 6:3 that you would know, if and only if, you "follow on to know the Lord." But how do you do that?  Our Man of God at the Fellowship, Pastor Robert Jackman really did minister today that our anchor should and must be in No other, than Jesus Christ Himself. What an awesome family and loveship at the Fellowship Ministry.

 

You can know Him by consciously and actively pursuing an ongoing relationship with Him. Because of Easter (through the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ), it is possible for us to have a vibrant relationship with God the Father. But since God is Spirit, it requires the Holy Spirit to make this happen. As with any relationship, our relationship with Father God must be nurtured and cultivated. And that is how you'll get to know your Spiritual Heavenly Father-who He is, what He's like, and what He wants. In knowing your Father God, you will know all you need to know! God is all-knowing; all knowledge comes from Him. And the Holy Spirit stands ready to impart that knowledge to you in Christ our blessed Savior. 

 

However, God operates on the "need to know" basis. Therefore, whenever you need to know something, His Spirit will let you know. But you must be looking and listening to Him! Jesus said He only did what He saw His Father do or heard His Father say ( John 5:19, 30 ). You must do likewise! And as you do, you will know, just as He promised in Hosea 6:3!

 

Not only that, but your Heavenly Father will take care of you. Hosea 6:3 assures us that God is attentive to the needs of His creation. God has designed it so that the rain falls upon the Earth at the appropriate season to nourish and replenish it. Likewise, He will give you (as His prize creation) what you need, at just the right time and in just the right way. Father God is dependable and faithful!

 

What about you? Do you truly know God as your Savior Lord in Jesus Christ? How well do you know Him? According to John 11:25, if you believe in Christ, then He will grant you resurrection life. When you believe, Christ will raise you from your spiritual death and become your very life. Believing involves entrusting your life totally to the Lord Jesus Christ and depending constantly on Him. That is what it means to walk by faith. 

 

As you walk by faith in the Lord, you will experience His resurrection life every day of your life. Then you will enjoy an intimate personal relationship with your Father God. This is the walk that glorifies your Heavenly Father. And this is the walk that makes your life worth living. All of this is because of resurrection Everyday and Sunday. "He is here in The Holy Ghost, you and many know as The Holy Spirit, He has Risen in my personal life for so many amazing years now" ( Matthew 28:6 ). He is risen indeed! Hallelujah! Has He Risen in your personal life?!
