Return Back To Biblical Order.

Why Is It In Today's Fellowships, Only Pastors, Bishops Get Supported?

A Worker is Worthy of His Wages & Christ Jesus gave some to be Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers: Ephesians 4:8-16 ?

It was the Apostles and Elders who appointed Pastors in the Church.

Jesus said to the 12 Men.
Matthew 10:7 "And as you go, preach, saying, `The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
9 "Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts,
10 or a bag for your journey, or even two coats, or sandals, or a staff; for the worker is worthy of his support."
Freely you received, freely give? Notice that the wages here is just what is necessary to support them! According to now-a-days and even in biblical times all Ministers full time were supported by the Church, should someone who is feeding and blessing you, by faith in Christ word and in his anointing, healing the sick, and preaching the gospel get full-time help and support?,

Jesus said to the 70 Men.
Luke 10:3 "Go; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.
4 "Carry no money belt, no bag, no shoes; and greet no one on the way.
5 "Whatever house you enter, first say, `Peace be to this house.
6 "If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.
7 "Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they give you; for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not keep moving from house to house.
8 "Whatever city you enter and they receive you, eat what is set before you;
9 and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, `The kingdom of God has come near to you."
 Isn't this clear? other places in the gospels do Jesus talk about a worker being worthy of his wages. So how can we conclude He was not talking about full-time help and support? Again, we are talking about being sustained only, and that only while we are only doing His will and purpose in His Kingdom.

Let's go on...
Matthew 27:54 Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, "Truly this was the Son of GOD!"
55 Many women were there looking on from a distance, who had followed Jesus from Galilee while ministering to Him.
Mark 15:40 There were also some women looking on from a distance, among whom were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the Less and Joses, and Salome.
41 When He was in Galilee, they used to follow Him and minister to Him; and there were many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem.
Luke 8:1 Soon afterward, He began going around from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the Kingdom of GOD. The twelve were with Him,
2 and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and sicknesses: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who were contributing to their support out of their private means.

 It does say that these women gave Jesus Christ and His Apostles their help and support, Jesus and His disciples were traveling on foot, ministering as they went. Of course, they had to be sustained in food and covering, etc. This is what these women did. Even though Jesus could have just produced their needs miraculously. Are we not suppose to be like our Master Teacher, He said to go into His vineyard and work and whatsoever is right, He would give to us?

I am quite sure that many believers gave the Lord and His disciples some gifts in the form of money since Judas did carry the money bag (John 13:29). Also, some of the funds in the money bag could have come from the disciples themselves at times. Even after three years, it is apparent that the disciples that were fisherman still had their boats and nets (John 21:2-6).
Now let's look at what Apostle Paul said here Church
1 Timothy 5:17 The elders who rule well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.
18 For the Scripture says, "YOU SHALL NOT MUZZLE THE OX WHILE HE IS THRESHING," and "The laborer is worthy of his wages."
Our Apostle Paul quotes the Lord Jesus here. Does this nullify what Jesus meant, or does it nullify all the other things Apostle Paul said on this issue? What did Apostle Paul mean by wages? Is an ox not just sustained in his work while he is threshing? Let's look at what else Apostle Paul said...
1 Corinthians 9:3 My defense to those who examine me is this:
4 Do we not have a right to eat and drink?
5 Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife, even as the rest of the apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Cephas?
6 Or do only Barnabas and I not have a right to refrain from working?
7 Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat the fruit of it? Or who tends a flock and does not use the milk of the flock?
8 I am not speaking these things according to human judgment, am I? Or does not the Law also say these things?
9 For it is written in the Law of Moses, "YOU SHALL NOT MUZZLE THE OX WHILE HE IS THRESHING." GOD is not concerned about oxen, is He?
Apostle Paul again mentions the ox. Notice verse 4, "Do we not have a right to eat and drink?" Apostle Paul talking about help and support here Church! It appears obvious that he is talking about we who live, teach and preach the gospel should live of the gospel. Amen.

Acts 20:17 From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called to him the Elders of the Church.
18 And when they had come to him, he said to them...
Acts 20:28 "Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
29 "I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock;
30 and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, draw away the disciples after them.
31 "Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears.
32 "And now I commend you to GOD and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
33 "I have coveted no one's silver or gold or clothes.
34 "You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my own needs and to the men who were with me.
35 "In everything, I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, `It is more Blessed to give than to receive."
Notice Apostle Paul tells the Elders to 'Shepherd' the Ekklesia (Church). The Greek word translated 'Pastor' in Eph 4:11 means shepherd. The elders are the overseers and shepherds. Apostle Paul never coveted anyone's silver, gold, or clothes. Can we say that of most false professional ministers today?
Do you not know that the covetous will not inherit the kingdom of GOD (1 Cor 6:9)?
Our Apostle Paul also said...
2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not like many, peddling the word of GOD, but as from sincerity, but as from GOD, we speak in Christ in the sight of GOD.
1 Timothy 6:5 and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.
6 But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment.
7 For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either.
8 If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
How come godliness is a means of gain to so many? How are they not peddling the gospel?
1 Corinthians 16:1 Now concerning the collection for the Saints, as I directed the Churches of Galatia, so do you also.
2 On the first day of every week, each one of you is to put aside and save, as he may prosper, so that no collections be made when I come.
The Collection is for the SAINTS!
2 Corinthians 8:13 For this is not for the ease of others and for your affliction, but by way of equality --
14 at this present time your abundance being a supply for their need, so that their abundance also may become a supply for your need, that there may be Equality;
15 as it is Written, "HE WHO gathered MUCH DID NOT HAVE TOO MUCH, AND HE WHO gathered LITTLE HAD NO LACK."
Read all of 2 Corinthians chapters 8 and 9. We are supposed to be taking care of the Saints. We are NOT supposed to be using most of our resources building up some man's or woman's personal ministry and their church buildings. This is exactly what our Apostle Paul warned about.
Where is a Pastor leading an Ekklesia (Church Body) anywhere in the NT Church? Why in the Epistles, did not the Apostles Paul, Peter, James, Jude, or John ever address a Pastor or presiding Elder of an Ekklesia in all their rebuking, correcting, and admonishing? They addressed their letters mostly to the saints, sometimes including the Elders and Deacons. In all their correcting of false teachings and practices, you would think they would have been rebuking the 'Pastor's who is supposed to be in charge of doctrine and teaching? Or is it only in our man-made Religious System that a Pastor is placed at the head of the local Ekklesia? It is quite obvious that the Pastor's is taking the place of " All the Ministry Team as written in Eph 4:11" and this is out of " Biblical Order." In GOD'S Love. Amen.

We Are Leading All Souls To Our Blessed Savior Jesus Christ;

Yes, Whoever Calls On His Holy Name Will Be Saved!!!
