If God asks you this morning what is your most precious possession - I wonder what you would answer? Your Family? Finances? Physical health? Some treasure that you hold onto?
There is something much more precious than any other possession - our own soul's people.
I say your souls is worth more than this whole wide world. All the oceans, all the mountains, all the continents, all the silver, all the gold, all the rubies, all the diamonds, all the stocks, all the bonds, all of the resources put together Yes, all of it ... is not worth one single solitary soul!
By this question that Jesus asks, God is telling us just how valuable our soul is! John 3:16
What is a Soul? The Definition of God's Biblical Soul ( Gen 2:7 )
When God looks at you and me, He sees souls! He sees the human race as SOULS, He Created by Christ The LIVING WORD.
Acts 2:41 “and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls added to the Church Jesus Birth and Built Himself on Him, The ROCK.”
We are more than what we see. We are a Unity of a being ( 1Thes 5:23) Made up of three parts, Body, Soul and Spirit
Yes, you do have a soul, God made you a living SOUL! Not just a living body!
You are a soul, it doesn’t belong to you, your soul belongs to God. All souls are His, and any soul that remains in sin will Die
We are BODY, SOUL, and SPIRIT, And yes, soon and very soon we all must stand before God to give an answer how we lived in our body here on earth.
Our body is an outer shell that contains something eternal, your soul and it is Not Black or White or Brown or Yellow or Red or Respecter of persons or Prejudice or Hateful. We learned that Sin from the Devil and our own weak flesh.
Your spirit is an inner shell that contains something eternal – for God’s Spirit to dwell in by Jesus Christ.
Your soul is that part of you that is the source of all your emotions and your will:
It is where your REAL heart is
Our soul is where love, dreams, wishes, visions yearn, desires, and other things.
It is what decides, chooses, trusts, and fears
It is what loves, hates, enjoys, rejects
Our flesh/body and skin and bones don’t do any of that! Your soul does all that!
Our soul is in the shape of your body and has everything your body has ( Rev 6:9 )
Your soul is the image of God in you ( Gen 1:26,27 )
In simple words, our soul is the REAL Us he is our personality. our body is only a covering, a shell, a tent that we dwell in ( 2 Cor 5:1-8 )
One of these days, we will leave this body of flesh, out tent.

How much Do You're, Soul Worth?
Let’s look at the infallible record of God’s word and see just what condition our souls are in
. Jer 17:9, 10 - Desperately wicked
We are sinners – Because of father Adam and mother Eve sin; rebellious against God’s word; resisters of God’s Spirit; stubborn against God’s will
Ephesians 2:1-3
Dead in trespasses and sin – spiritually DEAD
Simply following the course (pattern) of this world (like a stick floating on a river, headed for HELL ) – mankind is not following God!
Obeying the prince of the power of the air (like puppets) – not obeying God
The children of disobedience - not the children of God!
Living in the lusts of our flesh
Fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind
By nature the children of wrath.
Ephesians 2:12
Without Christ
Aliens from the Commonwealth ( Riches ) of Israel,
Strangers from the Covenants of Promise
Having no hope,
Without God in the world!
Romans 3:10-18 “As it is written”
There is none righteous, no, not one:
There is none that understands
There is none that see after God.
All are gone out of the way
They are together become unprofitable
There is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Their throat is an open sepulcher
With their tongues, they have used deceit
The poison of asps is under their lips:
Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
Their feet are swift to shed blood:
Destruction and misery are in their ways:
The way of peace have they not known:
There is no fear of God before their eyes.
In other words, we are ruined on the inside – Because of our human parents of All man-kind Acts 17:26 making us from One mans blood. Yes, we are All family!
We love sin, because of the World's Parents, daddy Adam and Mom eve, but we love OUR sins – to each his own!
We love darkness rather than light
We love ourselves rather than God
We love sin rather than righteousness
You would rather be angry than forgiving
You would rather hold a grudge than honor God and humble yourself
You would rather die than getting right with God and live His way
. We would rather lose our family than give up our Evil Ways.
We would rather lose our health than give up sin or our evil ways.
We were BORN that way - Psa 51:5 “Behold, I was sharpened in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” At birth, I was a selfish, self-centered sinner!
. Not just talking about your soul, but the souls of your Dad, your Mom, your sister, brother! The soul of your wife, your son, your husband, your daughter! The sous of your friends, and the souls of your worst enemy
They all have a never-dying soul, that is precious to God, and of eternal value to the Lord Jesus Christ
He has gone to the cross for them, and for you!
Will you not respond, and let Him save you this Right Now?
